Golf at Victoria Golf Club

Victoria Golf Club is situated in the heart of Melbourne’s rolling Sandbelt country, close to Metropolitan and Kingston Heath, in the beachside suburb of Cheltenham. It offers a sporting experience on par with the world’s best.

Victoria was the host club for the 2002 Australian Open Championship and the 2010, 2011 Australian Masters.

Golf at Royal Melbourne Golf Club

The Royal Melbourne Golf Club’s two courses, the East Course and the West Course, are each ranked amongst the best in the world.  Designed by Dr. Alister McKenzie, The Royal Melbourne West is possibly the most famous of Australia’s golf courses. However both the East and West tracks are renowned as some of the best golf layouts in the world (both are ranked in the US Golf Digest World Top 100). The club has hosted numerous national and international events, most famously the 1959 Canada Cup, the 1970 World Cup of Golf and the 2008, 2011 Presidents Cup. In 2019 the Presidents Cup will once again return to The Royal Melbourne Golf Club, providing international players with the challenging route of the Composite Course – a combination of the best holes (12 holes from West and six holes from East) from each routing.

Golf at Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club

Another Sandbelt beauty, Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club is located in Frankston.

In September of 2013, The Peninsula Country Golf Club officially merged with Kingswood Golf Club, the first merger of two private golf clubs in Australia. Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club, as it is now formally known, provides members and guests with a first-class private club that offers the very best in Sandbelt golf across two separate courses.

While the South Course has long been known as one of Australia’s toughest and testing championship courses, the North Course has recently come into its own after recent remodelling by OOCM. One of Australia’s top golf writers and authors called it ‘the best course renovation ever completed in Australia’.

Golf at The National Golf Club

The National Golf Club, a 54 hole private members golf club located at Cape Schanck on Victoria’s spectacular Mornington Peninsula, is one of Australia’s ultimate golfing experiences. A short drive from Melbourne, The National boasts three championship courses, all listed in Australia’s top 40.
